FINAL COMPETITIONS AT TATTON PARK
23 & 24 July 2008
The World Skills competition has been based around the RHS Tatton Park Show. To this end the competitors have been allocated an alcove of 2 metres wide by 3 metres deep, to create a showcase of the following items that will give the visitors a feeling of the spirit and overall ambience of the show, and will also feature the best of British flower growers.
“BEST OF BRITISH”
Design and construct a suitable hand-tied posy to be given to the lady TV. Presenter who will be visiting the competition marquee.
Design and construct a floor standing exhibit that in your opinion portrays the feeling and versatility of the show.
Design and construct an innovative bouquet in the holder provided, for the lady VIP to carry as she walks around the show-ground, and also a button-hole for her husband.

Time table for the day
9.30am to 10.15am. Registration Sort flowers and sundries
10.15am to 11.00am. Hand-Tied Posy.
11.15am to 12.45pm. Floor Standing Display
12.45pm to 1.15pm. Lunch
1.15pm to 2.30pm. Bouquet and buttonhole
2.35pm to 3.35pm. Surprise Package
Presentation of awards at approx 4.30pm.
