'Floristry is an art form, not a matter of placing flowers in a vase’ would be my motto and is something I sincerely believe.
I have travelled, studied, employed and worked with some of the best floral designers in the world. The experience that I have gained from these designers has not only given me a much wider outlook on what is achievable with flowers and plants, but a unique ability to make stunning designs with plants, as was demonstrated in 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia at the American Institute of Designers Symposium on stage with a wonderful team of designers.
I have a background in business administration which is extremely useful with my position of editor of Focal Point (the Society of Floristry magazine) as well as being the Director of Finance.
